MP: Promising Football Players from Mini Brazil Vicharpur Meet CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, share their experiences of Germany trip
Promising Football players from Vicharpur village in Shahdol met Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav at the Secretariat in Bhopal on Tuesday. The players were accompanied by their German coaches Dietmar Bayersdorfer and Manuel Schaefer, and Sports Director Rakesh Gupta. CM Dr. Yadav congratulated all the players for their excellent performance and wished them success in future competitions. CM welcomed both international coaches.
Village Vicharpur in Shahdol district has been dubbed Mini Brazil. These players recently returned from an international training trip to Germany. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also praised the players from Shahdol district in his "Mann Ki Baat" program.
CM had directed the Sports Department to send the football players from Vicharpur, or Mini Brazil, to Germany for training. The Sports Department and the Indian Embassy made the necessary financial and administrative arrangements for this. The players were provided with football kits and sports shoes, and their fitness was assessed and medically examined, and training sessions were conducted before their trip abroad.
Players shared their experiences of their trip to Germany
Football players from Vicharpur in Shahdol district shared their experiences of training in Germany from October 4th to 12th with CM Mohan Yadav. The players were welcomed upon their arrival in Bhopal on October 14. This week, German football coaches Dietmar Bayersdorfer and Manuel Schaefer arrived in Vicharpur. Both coaches also met with the players' families. The German coaches also met with the football players at the Tatya Tope Stadium in Bhopal.
