Nitish Kumar will be sworn in as Chief Minister of Bihar on Thursday, November 20, at 11:30 a.m. at Gandhi Maidan. PM Modi will also attend the event. JDU Working President Sanjay Jha provided this information.
Nitish elected leader of the legislative party
On Wednesday, the JDU legislative party met at the Chief Minister's House. Nitish Kumar was elected leader of the legislative party.
BJP elected Samrat Chaudhary as its legislative party leader
The BJP also elected Samrat Chaudhary as its legislative party leader after the meeting. The NDA will now meet at 3:30 p.m. in the Central Hall of the Assembly.
The alliance's constituent parties will approve Nitish Kumar's appointment as Chief Minister. It is likely that 13 ministers could be appointed from the JDU quota.
NDA legislative party meeting at Central Hall
The NDA legislative party will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the Central Hall. All 202 MLAs from the BJP, JDU, LJP(R), HAM, and RLM will be present. Nitish Kumar, Chirag Paswan, Santosh Suman, Upendra Kushwaha, Samrat Chaudhary, and Vijay Sinha will also be present.
All parties will discuss their chosen lgislative party leader. The NDA will elect Nitish Kumar as the legislative party leader.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will then submit his resignation to the Governor and stake claim to form the government. This entire process is expected to be completed by evening.
Swearing-in ceremony on the 20 Nov, PM and NDA state CMs to attend
Nitish Kumar will be sworn in as Chief Minister again on November 20th. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Gandhi Maidan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President JP Nadda, and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will attend the event.
Mohan Yadav will also attend
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav, Bhajan Lal Sharma from Rajasthan, and Devendra Fadnavis from Maharashtra, along with CMs and Deputy CMs from BJP-ruled states, will also attend.
Apart from this, people honoured with Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri, scientists, litterateurs and others will also be present.
