Delhi is no longer far from Rewa in the state. Previously, it took up to 15 hours by train to reach Delhi from Rewa, but now with the launch of the flight service, it will take just two hours.

On Monday, Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Rewa-Delhi-Rewa flight service via video conferencing. During the launch, the CM said that even the people of Vindhya Pradesh will be able to proudly say that Delhi is no longer far away.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this flight service will prove to be a boon for mineral-industry activities, religious sites, and national parks. He said that Vindhya has received this gift due to the blessings of Goddess Sharda Bhavani, and it is a matter of pride for the entire Madhya Pradesh.

CM added that Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Rewa Airport last year. Working at lightning speed for the convenience of the people of the region, the Rewa-Delhi flight service has commenced today. The state government has also taken significant steps towards connecting Rewa with the state's economic capital, Indore.

Alliance Air will operate the Rewa-Delhi flight service.

This flight service will be operated by Alliance Air. Rewa Airport was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2024. It is now included in the 3C-IFR category of airports, making nighttime flight operations possible.

On the occasion of the State Foundation Day, the Aviation Department presented the Letter of Award to Alliance Air for the operation of the Rewa-Delhi flight service. This new flight service will not only save time but will also provide a new impetus to the industrial, religious, and economic development of the Vindhya region.
