PM Modi to hoist saffron flag on main spire of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya on this day, what preparations are underway
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya on November 25 to hoist a saffron flag on the main spire of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, which is 161 feet tall. This is a special event because all seven spires of the temple will have saffron flags for the first time. When Ram Lalla, who sits below the main spire, sees the flag, it will be a memorable moment for many followers of Sanatan Dharma in India and around the world.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is overseeing the preparations to make this ceremony very grand. Officials from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust have been in Ayodhya for several days to ensure everything is ready. Updates about the preparations are being sent directly to the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister's Office.
200-foot-wide LED screen will be set up
The ceremony will be broadcast live on major news channels and online. A large 200-foot-wide LED screen will be set up at the temple complex, and more screens will be placed at over 30 key locations in Ayodhya so that many people can watch the flag being raised live.
Special lights will illuminate the temple complex
The city is being prepared to look even more beautiful than during the Deepotsav festival. Special lights will illuminate the Ram Temple complex, and when the flag is raised, the city will be decorated with flowers, colorful lights, and saffron flags. Grand archways with "Jai Shri Ram" written in gold will be built at every intersection.
From November 21 to 25, there will be many cultural events in the city, including performances similar to those during previous ceremonies. Officials are working with artists to create a festive atmosphere with storytelling, dance, and music.
Teams working hard to beautify the city
Teams from the Municipal Corporation are working hard to clean and beautify the city. Roads are being repaired, ghats are being painted, and trees and flowers are being added to the landscape. The banks of the Saryu River are also being enhanced.
Municipal Commissioner Jayendra Kumar said the city is being decorated to welcome the many visitors who will come to Ayodhya. This event will be more than just a flag hoisting; it will mark a new identity for Ramnagari and will be a moment for the entire country to witness and remember.
