What advice Devendra Fadnavis offered to Rahul Gandhi after Bihar election-2025 results

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has advised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to "introspect."

On Saturday, journalists asked Devendra Fadnavis to respond to Rahul Gandhi's X-post on the fairness of the Bihar election results.

In response, CM Fadnavis said, "Unless he introspects, he will be doomed."

Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi posted on X-post, calling the Bihar Assembly election results shocking.

He wrote, "I express my heartfelt gratitude to the millions of voters in Bihar who placed their faith in the Grand Alliance. This result in Bihar is truly shocking."

Rahul said, "We could not win an election that was not fair from the beginning. This is a fight to protect the Constitution and democracy. The Congress Party and the India Alliance will seriously review this result and intensify their efforts to protect democracy."

The NDA secured a majority in the Bihar Assembly elections, while the Grand Alliance lagged far behind. Congress won only six seats.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
