What Deepti Sharma said after participating in Bhasma Aarti of Lord Mahakal in Ujjain
Ujjain: Deepti Sharma, a member of the Indian cricket team that recently brought glory to the country by winning the Women's Cricket World Cup, participated in the Bhasma Aarti held at the world-famous Lord Mahakaleshwar Temple early Sunday morning. During the Aarti, she visited Lord Mahakaleshwar and, after performing the rituals, thanked Baba Mahakal for the country's prosperity and the success of Team India.
Deepti Sharma arrived at the temple early in the morning, where she participated in the traditional Aarti and offered her prayers with devotion. Crowds of devotees thronged the temple premises during the Aarti, and everyone warmly welcomed the Indian team player.
Following the darshan, Deputy Administrator S.N. Soni, on behalf of the temple committee, welcomed and honored Deepti Sharma. She was presented with Lord Mahakaleshwar's Prasad, a robe, and a memento.
On this occasion, Soni said that the Indian women's cricket team has brought honor to the country by recently winning the World Cup, and it is a matter of pride for the country that the team members visited the court of Mahakal Baba to seek blessings.
Deepti Sharma also described visiting the Mahakal Temple as a special experience in her life and said that she felt immense energy and peace after visiting there. She said that she prayed to Lord Mahakal for the continued success of the Indian team and the well-being of the countrymen.
