MP: What Rahul Gandhi said about vote fraud and SIR at Pachmarhi training camp?
Former Congress President and Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, left for Bhopal on Sunday after paying floral tribute to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Pachmarhi. Rahul was in Pachmarhi to participate in Congress training camp.
Speaking to the media earlier in the morning, he reiterated serious allegations of voter fraud in recent elections, claiming that a major portion of votes had been “stolen” across multiple states.
Rahul Gandhi referred to a presentation he delivered recently concerning Haryana, where, according to him, data indicated that about 25 lakh votes had been tampered with. “This means one out of every eight votes was stolen. After analyzing the patterns and data, I believe similar manipulation has taken place in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh,” he said.
BJP working in close coordination with EC
He accused the BJP of working in close coordination with the Election Commission to facilitate such irregularities. “This is not a coincidence. It is a system. A joint operation. We have extensive evidence, and we will continue to make it public in phases,” he added.
Core issue is vote theft and SIR is being used to cover it up
Commenting on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process currently being conducted by the Election Commission, Rahul described it as an attempt to conceal widespread voter list manipulation. “The core issue is vote theft, and SIR is being used to cover it up. We have detailed information regarding the manner in which voters were removed and substituted. What we have shown so far is only a small part,” he stated.
An assault on democracy
He further asserted that the alleged electoral malpractice amounted to an assault on democracy and the Constitution drafted under the leadership of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Concluding his remarks, Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and senior RSS functionary Gyanesh Kumar of “jointly damaging the country through their partnership in power.”
