Will Nitish Kumar remain Chief Minister of Bihar, What Giriraj Singh Told
Dismissing speculation about the name of the next Chief Minister of Bihar, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said on Tuesday that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will remain in office.
Begusarai MP and Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, "Every party has its own process, and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will also hold meetings to select the Chief Minister of Bihar."
Speaking to reporters at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) in Delhi, he said, "I don't know why this confusion exists. We fought the elections under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar. He will continue to be the Chief Minister, but there is a process for that."
He said that the BJP and JDU will hold separate legislative party meetings, followed by a joint meeting of the NDA.
He said, "Everyone will decide the leader together in the NDA meeting. And I am saying with full confidence that Nitish Kumar will be the Chief Minister."
Bihar Assembly will be dissolved 19 Nov
The Assembly will be dissolved on Wednesday, and the swearing-in ceremony for the Chief Minister will take place at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Thursday, November 20.
Outgoing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed preparations for the swearing-in ceremony at Gandhi Maidan on Tuesday.

He said, "The swearing-in ceremony will take place on November 20th. After Nitish Kumar's historic victory, the NDA is going to form the government. The Prime Minister will be there. Several Chief Ministers will also be attending."
He added, "NDA-BJP leaders, MPs, office bearers, and MLAs will be in attendance. This is an enthusiastic swearing-in ceremony. Bihar's Chief Secretary, DGP, Patna District Magistrate, state in-charge, and NDA leaders are all here and giving suggestions."
BJP leader Nitin Nabin said, "Chief Ministers of various states, the Union Home Minister, and other Union Ministers will also attend this ceremony. Bihar will celebrate it like a festival, and the Chief Minister himself is overseeing everything."
