Protest outside Bangladesh High Commission on Saturday
A protest was held outside the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi on Saturday night against the murder of a Hindu youth in Bangladesh.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal clarified that the protest was very small and peaceful. There was no threat to the security of the Bangladesh High Commission.
He said that some Bangladeshi media outlets are spreading misleading information about this incident. The reality is that only 20 to 25 young people participated in the protest.
Bangladesh rejected India's statement, saying that the situation was far more serious. Dhaka said that calling the incident misleading propaganda is incorrect.
