Deepti Sharma reaches top spot in ICC Women's T20 International Bowling Rankings
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that Indian cricketer Deepti Sharma has reached the number one position in the ICC Women's T20 International Bowling Rankings.
South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt has regained the No. 1 position in the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings after the latest weekly update.
The ICC posted on X, "A historic moment for India's star player Deepti Sharma as she reaches the number one spot in the ICC Women's T20 International Bowling Rankings."
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari congratulated Deepti Sharma.
He posted on X, "Congratulations to Deepti Sharma on achieving a career-best number 1 position in the ICC Women's T20 International Bowling Rankings! Her skill and match-winning performances will continue to inspire millions. This is a proud moment for Indian cricket."
