The IndiGo Airline is yet to fully recover from the chaos created by the cancellation of IndiGo flights at airports across the country for the past several days. On Monday, a total of 19 IndiGo flights had to be cancelled at Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur airports. Today, on Tuesday too, IndiGo flights from Jaipur to Bangalore and Bangalore to Jaipur have been cancelled.

IndiGo operates around 90 flights daily from Rajasthan. On Monday too, many IndiGo flights were cancelled across the country. The same situation continues today, Tuesday as well.  Flights from Bangalore to Jaipur and Jaipur to Bangalore to Jaipur are cancelled today, Tuesday.

Regarding the IndiGo crisis, Civil Aviation Ministry Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha said that the situation has now returned to normal.

He told media, "The situation has almost returned to normal. IndiGo operated over 1,800 flights on Monday, which is almost normal. All other airlines, such as Akasa, Air India Express, Air India, and SpiceJet, are operating at full capacity."

Regarding passenger luggage, Sameer Kumar Sinha said, "90 percent of the luggage has been delivered. Airlines are delivering passengers' luggage to their addresses. I believe it will reach passengers at their given addresses within the next 24 hours or so."

The Civil Aviation Ministry Secretary also stated that passengers have been refunded their money.

Regarding the investigation into the Indigo crisis, he said, "We have already ordered an inquiry. A detailed investigation is scheduled in about 15 days, and when we have the report, we will look into the reasons. A show-cause notice has also been issued to Indigo's senior management. We will await the investigation report and then take corrective action."

The crisis began last Wednesday when hundreds of Indigo flights were cancelled and dozens were delayed. More than 1,000 flights were cancelled on Friday alone.

This caused fares for other airlines to skyrocket. On Saturday, the Indian government intervened and capped airfares.
