Aradhana Semaria became an air hostess, a journey that began on YouTube.
The daughters of Bundelkhand have once again proved that with strong determination, one can conquer the vast skies even from small towns. Aradhana Semaria, a resident of the historical city of Orchha in Niwari district, has been selected for the position of Air Hostess in a prestigious private airline.
Upon returning home after completing her training recently, she received a grand welcome. Aradhana's success story is no less than a film.
In 2024, when she was in 12th grade, she watched a video of an air hostess on YouTube. This is where her desire to pursue a career in the aviation sector was born. Aradhana herself gathered information about the selection process and necessary qualifications through the internet.
Difficult Selection Process
As soon as she turned 18, Aradhana got her passport made and applied. During the selection process, she had to go through a rigorous examination. Five rounds of interviews tested her height, weight, communication skills, confidence, and practical abilities.
Aradhana already had a good command of English, which is a mandatory qualification for this field.
Breaking Stereotypes: "Fair complexion is not necessary"
Speaking about her success, Aradhana gave an important message. She said, "People often think that you need to be fair-skinned to become a flight attendant, but that's wrong. What matters most is healthy skin, your communication skills, your confidence, and your smile."

Aradhana shared that she was the only girl from the Bundelkhand region throughout the entire training. She not only received professional training but also introduced the people from other states present there to the culture of Orchha and Bundelkhand.
