Madhya Pradesh: First flight from Rewa arrives at Indore Airport, this is how people of Vindhya region expressed their joy.
On Monday, Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM Dr. Rajendra Shukla, along with passengers from the Vindhya region, arrived on the first flight service at Indore's Devi Ahilya Airport. Passengers from the Vindhya region expressed their joy at traveling on the first flight from Rewa to Indore.
Rajendra Shukla, Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, and more than 70 citizens from the Vindhya region were on board the flight.
At the Indore airport, hundreds of citizens from the Vindhya region residing in Indore welcomed everyone with drumbeats, applause, and by presenting bouquets, scarves, and garlands. MLA Golu Shukla was also specially present on this occasion.
People from Vindhya will be able to travel by air from Indore to metros
Deputy CM Shukla said that this new flight will provide better air connectivity to the citizens of the Vindhya region. People from Vindhya will now be able to travel by air from Indore airport to metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai. This air service will boost the development of the Vindhya region. It will also boost tourism at the Ujjain and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga temples. Prime Minister Modi's dream is that even those who wear slippers will be able to travel by air.
Bhajan singer Ms. Dwivedi, who arrived on the flight from Rewa, said that coming to Indore has now become easy. It used to take 14 hours to travel from Rewa to Indore by train, but now it will take only an hour and a half. This will save time. Satyamani Pandey, Rampal Sipla, and Amar Singh said that they often have to come to Indore for business. Traveling by train took a lot of time, but now with the availability of flights, they can reach Indore in less time.
