What warning Hindu outfits have issued to Missionary Schools in MP ahead of Christmas
Bhopal: Hindu right-wing activists on Monday issued a warning to missionary schools in Madhya Pradesh to not force any Sanatani (Hindu) child to dress up as Santa Claus. Ahead of Christmas, Hindu bodies said they would hold protest and take legal action if this advice were not followed.
In a video message, 'Hindu Utsav Samiti' chief Chandrashekhar Tiwari said, "Any Missionary Schools that compel our Sanatani kids to dress up like Santa Claus on Christmas will face our opposition. Such an act will not be tolerated at any cost."
Tiwari urged CM Dr Mohan Yadav to issue an official order in this regars. No kids should be compelled to dress up like Santa Claus in schools, he said.
Surprise inspections will be conducted
Tiwari said the Hindu Utsav Samiti and the Sanskriti Bachao Manch members will conduct surprise checks of Missionary schools, and if they find that any Sanatani kids have been forced to dress up like Santa Claus on Christmas, they will take legal action.
"Shri Hindu Utsav Samiti and Sanskriti Bachao Manch warn Missionary Schools, and we also urge all Hindu parents who receive such an order from any Missionary School regarding their kids, to contact us for necessary action," he stated.
"Missionary Schools never ask (Hindu) kids to become Ram on Ram Navami, or Krishna on Janmashtami. So, if you have to make any kids Santa Claus or whatever else on Christmas, then you are free to do that with Christian kids in your school," the Hindu organization chief said.
