Akhilesh Yadav on UP Assembly Election 2027 Alliance: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has stirred up political activity in Uttar Pradesh. Putting an end to speculation surrounding the upcoming assembly elections, he has clearly clarified his strategy. 

Akhilesh has made it clear that his party will contest the elections not alone, but in strong alliance with the India Alliance. He claimed that the people of Uttar Pradesh are now in a mood for major change and are fed up with the current government's policies.

Inflation and unemployment are rising

The SP chief launched a scathing attack on the central and state governments, raising the issue of economic distress. He said inflation and unemployment are continuously rising, but the government is paying no attention to this. 

Attacks govt on the issue of Indigo Airlines

He also attacked the government on the issue of Indigo Airlines, alleging that the government is not taking any action against the company despite flight cancellations due to the acceptance of electoral bonds.

People's votes are being cut

Akhilesh Yadav raised serious questions about the role of the Election Commission and the administration regarding the voter list and SIR. He said that the SIR should have been simplified and Aadhaar card should have been included, but this was not done. Yadav directly alleged that the BJP, in collusion with the administration, is massively cutting people's votes, while the Commission's responsibility is to increase votes. 

Do not drink Banaras cough syrup

Taking a dig at the cough syrup issue, he said that the government is working on the principle of "One District, One Mafia." He advised people not to drink Banaras cough syrup and said that the real mafia are BJP members, and that is why bulldozers are not used against them.

Akhilesh defends Mamata

Reacting to reports of the Babri Masjid being built in Murshidabad, West Bengal, Akhilesh defended Mamata Banerjee. He said that Mamata Banerjee will become the next Chief Minister and that the BJP, as per its habit, is dragging religion into politics, whereas the country should be governed by the Constitution

Meanwhile, hitting back at UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the SP chief said, "He is the Chief Minister and can travel anywhere by helicopter. But he doesn't see the rising crime and rampant unemployment on the ground." Akhilesh insisted that big criminals and the mafia are with the ruling party, so they are safe.
