Bhopal: Over 5,000 potted plants and over 2,000 cut flowers to be displayed at Pushp Mahotsav, check details

The ‘Pushp Mahotsav’ or the Flower Festival will be organised on January 30 at Bhopal's Rose Garden, located in the heart of the state capital under the chief guestship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. 

During the festival, residents of Bhopal will be able to enjoy the fragrance and display of a wide variety of flowers, with more than 5,000 potted plants and over 2,000 cut flowers on exhibition. A preparatory meeting for the festival was held under the chairmanship of Garden Commissioner (Horticulture and Food Processing)  Arvind Dubey. The meeting was attended by Sushil Prakash, President of the National Rose Society of India, Garde, President of the Madhya Pradesh Rose Society, along with other members and departmental officials.

Commissioner Dubey said that the State Government is observing 2026 as the ‘Year of Agriculture’. As part of this initiative, the grand Pushp Mahotsav is being organised. In addition to Bhopal, more than 5,000 potted plants and 2,000 cut flowers will be showcased from other major districts of the state, including Indore, Ujjain, Narmadapuram, Pachmarhi, Guna, and Gwalior, among others.

Flower stalls set up by farmers from various districts, along with nursery products; will also be available for purchase by the general public at the festival.
