Bhopal’s Upper Lake Set to Dazzle as MP Youth Games Nears Launch, Vishwas Sarang Takes Stock of Preparations
Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang visited the Water Sports Academy at Bhopal's Upper Lake on Saturday to inspect the preparations for the launch of the Khelo MP Youth Games. He gave necessary instructions to the officials regarding security, technical arrangements, and spectator facilities for the event.
Grand Inauguration on January 13 at 6 PM
Sarang announced that the Khelo MP Youth Games will be grandly inaugurated on January 13 at 6 PM at Upper Lake in Bhopal, with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav as the chief guest. The logo, mascot, anthem, and official jersey of the Khelo MP Youth Games will be formally unveiled on this occasion. The spectacular view of Bhopal's Bada Talab during the inauguration ceremony will make this event truly historic.
4K Water Projection and State-of-the-Art Technology to be the Highlights
Sarang stated that special attractions such as 4K water projection, high-quality visual displays, attractive fireworks through torch lighting, and a 20-foot-tall 'larger-than-life' jersey will elevate the grandeur of the inauguration ceremony to new heights. This event will be an impressive blend of technology and sports culture.
Traditional and popular games also included
Minister Sarang said that the Khelo MP Youth Games are being organized for the first time in the country through the joint collaboration of the Sports Department and All Sports Associations. This initiative is a historic and innovative step in the field of sports administration. Competitions in a total of 28 sports will be held during the event.
For the first time, traditional and popular games like Pittu, Tug-of-War, Cricket, and Throwball have also been included, providing an opportunity to connect more and more young people with sports.
