On the last day of his Japan visit, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath rode a high-speed Maglev train in Yamanashi. After visiting the hydrogen green energy plant, the experience of the high-speed Maglev train, which can reach speeds of up to 600 km/h, was thrilling for Yogi. The linear maglev train operates at a speed of 500 km/h.

The linear maglev train operates on magnetic force, or rather, flies through the air at a speed of 500 km/h.

The Maglev train ride was not only thrilling but also offered a glimpse into future transportation technology. Japan's state-of-the-art Maglev train relies on magnetic power, making it completely different from conventional trains.

This train runs elevated above the tracks, virtually eliminating friction, allowing it to reach speeds of 500 to 600 kilometers per hour. The train demonstrated its highest capacity on the Yamanashi test track, impressing the Chief Minister.

The Maglev train's journey is completely smooth and shock-free. Sitting inside the train feels like a plane flying very close to the ground. Sharing this experience, the Chief Minister described it as the journey of the future.

Yogi Adityanath shared a photo on his social media handle and wrote, "Mount Fuji, Japan's highest peak and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a symbol of dedication, discipline, and spiritual balance. It is my privilege to see magnificent Mount Fuji, a symbol of Japan's enduring beauty and cultural pride, on a sunny day. Thank you, Japan!"

Yogi wrote further: You can see that I was traveling at 501 km/h. Experienced Japan's advanced SCMAGLEV train in Yamanashi, a next-generation high-speed system that reaches speeds of up to 500 km/h and represents the future of clean, efficient, and precision mobility.

CM Yogi further wrote, "You can see that I was traveling at 501 km/h." In Yamanashi, we experienced Japan's advanced train, a next-generation high-speed system that showcases a future of cleaner, more efficient, and more precise mobility. Even at high speeds, the ride was smooth and stable, demonstrating Japan's commitment to innovation and the highest quality of long-lasting infrastructure. When technology moves at this pace, the future seems closer than ever.

Visited a green hydrogen plant

On the second day of his visit to Japan, Yogi Adityanath visited a green hydrogen plant in Yamanashi Prefecture. During this visit, he learned about the technology for generating hydrogen and electricity from water. While traveling from Tokyo to Yamanashi, a nun named Tulsi met Yogi with her companions.

Sadhvi Tulsi explained that she is promoting Hinduism and Jainism in Japan. A small child accompanying her touched Yogi Adityanath's feet and recited a Sanskrit mantra. Yogi was delighted by this sight and offered chocolates to the Japanese devotees as prasad.

When Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Yamanashi Prefecture, he was welcomed by a large number of school children. Yogi spent some time with the children, holding the India-Japan flags.

In addition, locals in Yamanashi also presented Yogi with a special painting. Yamanashi is known for modern agriculture and technology in Japan. It is home to hydrogen energy, a robotics center, and a high-speed train center. The world-famous Mount Fuji is also a major attraction.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a tour of Singapore and Japan starting February 22nd, marking his second foreign trip in his nine-year tenure. He previously made a limited visit to Myanmar in 2017. This foreign trip, after a long gap, is considered special because it aims to attract investment to the state and give new impetus to modern infrastructure.
