Sufficient quantities of petrol, diesel and LPG are available in Madhya Pradesh. This information was provided by representatives of oil companies during a review of petroleum product availability conducted by Additional Chief Secretary Food, Rashmi Arun Shami, at the ministry on Thursday.
Notably, considering the current international scenario, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Govind Singh Rajput had directed a review of petroleum product availability.
During the review meeting, representatives of oil companies stated that sufficient stock of petroleum products is available in view of the current consumption.
ACS instructed oil companies to ensure that their field officers and depot in-charges coordinate with divisional commissioners and collectors and provide regular updates on stock.
ACS also directed that hoarding or black marketing of diesel, petrol and LPG must not occur under any circumstances. Daily stock reviews should be conducted at the dealer level.
