Chardham Yatra 2026: Temples to open in April, online registration begins from this date
Dehradun: Online registration for pilgrims for Uttarakhand's world-famous Chardham Yatra 2026 will begin March 6.
According to information released by the state government, devotees will be able to register online for the pilgrimage starting at 7 a.m. on Friday.
To facilitate and streamline the Chardham Yatra, online registration has been implemented this year as well. Devotees can register via weblink and mobile app. Indian pilgrims can register using their Aadhaar card, while foreign pilgrims can register via email.

The opening dates for the Chardham Yatra in 2026 have also been announced. The doors of Yamunotri and Gangotri will open for pilgrims on April 19, the doors of Kedarnath on April 22, and the doors of Badrinath on April 23. The date of opening of the doors of Hemkund Sahib will be released after the official announcement.
For devotees who do not have an Aadhaar card, physical registration centers have been arranged this year as well. Registration services at these centers will begin on April 17, 2026, two days before the opening of the doors. Physical registration centers will be set up at the Yatra Registration Center and Transit Camp in Rishikesh, Rishikul Ground in Haridwar, and Vikasnagar in Dehradun.
