India has responded to the ongoing attacks on energy installations in the Gulf countries. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that attacks on energy infrastructure must cease immediately.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "India has previously stated that targeting civilian infrastructure—including energy installations—must be avoided. The recent attacks on energy installations are deeply concerning. They further exacerbate an already volatile energy situation. Such attacks are unacceptable and must stop immediately."

Furthermore, the Ministry of External Affairs informed that several of India's neighboring countries have sought its assistance in the energy sector. These include Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.

Randhir Jaiswal stated, "We have received requests regarding energy from several neighboring countries. We have received requests from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and certain other neighbors."

"As I have mentioned previously, India has been supplying diesel to Bangladesh through various channels since 2007. We continue to assist Bangladesh and our other neighbors. These efforts are being undertaken while keeping in mind our own domestic requirements, our refining capacity, and the availability of diesel."

It is noteworthy that an energy crisis has emerged in several countries amidst the ongoing conflict between Iran and the US-Israel axis.
