India defeated New Zealand in the T20 World Cup final played on Sunday. With this, the Indian team has become the only team to win the T20 World Cup three times.
Previously, India won the T20 World Cup in 2004 under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and in 2007 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
