This year, no student has been declared as having a supplementary result in MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams. In line with the National Education Policy, a “Second Opportunity Examination” is now being given for students. Those who were absent, failed, or wish to improve their marks need not be discouraged, as the government stands with them.

The Second Opportunity Examination will be conducted from May 7 to May 25. The state government is providing students with another chance to perform better through greater effort. Parents of students who did not pass are being encouraged to support and motivate their children, reassuring them that failure should not lead to discouragement. Minor setbacks in life make individuals stronger, and those who rise after falling are the true winners.

Students who were absent or failed in one or more subjects in the first board examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education will be eligible to appear in this examination. Students who have already passed a subject can also appear to improve their marks.

The better result between the first and second attempts will be considered final. For practical subjects, students will be eligible to appear only in the portion (practical/internal) in which they were unsuccessful. Subject change will not be permitted in the Second Opportunity Examination.

Online applications for appearing in the examination can be submitted through the MP Online portal until midnight of April 22.

Under the leadership of CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to implement the National Education Policy 2020. A total of 369 well-equipped Sandipani Schools and 730 PM SHRI Schools are bringing transformative changes in the quality of education.
