The UP Board Class 10 and 12 results were released on Thursday evening at 4:00 PM. In Class 12, 80.38 percent of students have passed. Once again, girls have outperformed the boys. All five students occupying the top three ranks are girls.
Shikha Verma from Sitapur has topped the UP Board Class-12 examination. Shikha secured 97.60 percent marks. Sharing the second position are Nandini Gupta and Shriya Verma; both have scored 97.20 percent marks. Nandini's father works as a welder.
The third position is also shared by two girl students: Surbhi Yadav and Pooja Pal, who secured 97 percent marks each. Surbhi's father works at an IFFCO factory.
Class 10 toppers are also girls
The UP Board Class 10 results have also been released. Kashish Verma from Sitapur and Anshika Verma from Barabanki have topped the exams, both securing 97.83% marks. Aditi from Barabanki secured the second position with 97.50% marks. The third position is shared by Arpita from Sitapur, Rishabh Sahu from Jhansi, and Pari Verma from Barabanki, all of whom secured 97.33% marks.
Thus, a total of six students have secured a place within the top three ranks. A notable highlight is that five of these students are girls.
90.42% of the candidates have passed
This time, 90.42% of the candidates have passed. 93.76% of girls passed, compared to 87.30% of boys. Accordingly, 6.46% more girls passed than boys. In 2024, 90.11% of students had passed. This year, 0.31% more students have been successful.

Students can view their results by visiting the official website. UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh stated that, along with the release of the results, the list of toppers has also been published. The girl students who have secured top positions across the state will be felicitated by the state government.
