US Israel Iran war: Iran attacked a data center belonging to the American company Amazon Web Services in Bahrain. A fire broke out at the site following the attack.
Earlier, Bahrain's Ministry of Interior had also reported that a fire had engulfed a corporate building, which fire brigade teams were working to extinguish. However, the name of the company was not disclosed at that time.
This attack comes just a day after Iran's Revolutionary Guards threatened to target 18 American companies operating in the Middle East including giants such as Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Meta.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it carried out over 100 missile and drone strikes on Wednesday. These attacks targeted various Israeli sites as well as U.S. military bases located in the Gulf nations. Additionally, a major Iranian enterprise—the Mobarakeh Steel Company—sustained heavy damage in an attack.
Iran's military has claimed that it targeted Israel's Ben Gurion Airport and several military bases in the UAE. However, these claims have not been independently verified.
Meanwhile, four members of the same family were killed in an Israeli strike on a home in southern Lebanon. The victims included a husband, his wife, and their two daughters.
No need for any agreement with Iran: Trump
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has stated that there is no need for any agreement (deal) to end the conflict with Iran. He asserted that the United States could bring this conflict to an end within two to three weeks.
