Police investigations and CCTV footage have revealed that Chirag traveled from Delhi to Hindon in an Ola cab accompanied by a friend. Subsequently, the two proceeded to Sai Upvan, where Chirag was murdered. Acting on the CCTV footage, the police have detained a young man, who is currently undergoing interrogation.

Four police teams deployed to solve the case

The police suspect that a fellow competitor may also be under the scanner; a breakthrough in the case is expected shortly. Meanwhile, the police are also questioning Chirag's girlfriend, a resident of Indore. DCP (City) Dhaval Jaiswal stated that four police teams have been deployed to solve the case.

The 8th Indian Open Para Athletics International competition was held at the Sri Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru from May 26 to May 28. Six para-athletes from Ghaziabad delivered exceptional performances at this event, winning medals and qualifying for the Asian Para Games.

The Asian Games are scheduled to take place in Japan between October 18 and October 24. Monu Kumar, Secretary of the District Para Association, stated that during the competition, Chirag Tyagi won a gold medal in the 400-meter race and a silver medal in the 1500-meter race. He was on his way home following these victories.
