After winning the toss, Rajasthan elected to bat first; however, they got off to a shaky start as Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada inflicted early blows. Yashaswi Jaiswal was dismissed for just 1 run, while Dhruv Jurel could only manage 7 runs.
With the team under pressure, Suryavanshi and Ravindra Jadeja stabilized the innings by forging a crucial partnership. Later, Jadeja retired hurt after scoring an unbeaten 45 runs off 35 balls.
Vaibhav hit eight fours and seven sixes
Captain Riyan Parag and Dasun Shanaka failed to make any significant contributions, but Suryavanshi maintained his aggressive approach and narrowly missed out on a century. He scored 96 runs off 47 balls—an innings studded with eight fours and seven sixes—before falling victim to Rabada in the 18th over.
In the final stages, Donovan Ferreira played a blistering cameo, smashing an unbeaten 38 runs off just 11 balls to propel Rajasthan's total past the 200-run mark. For Gujarat, Rabada and Jason Holder claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Gujarat have scored 69 runs without loss after 6 overs. Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill are at the crease.
