The "Cockroach Janata Party" (CJP)—which recently went viral on social media—has launched its first public campaign. Its objective is to highlight civic and governance-related issues across the country.

This campaign has been titled "Cockroach Ki Zindagi" (The Life of a Cockroach). It was announced via a video post on social media. In this message, the group stated that this campaign is dedicated to those who are plagued by government negligence and systemic failures in public services.

The CJP has appealed to the public to share photos and videos depicting the problems in their respective localities. These issues include the dilapidated condition of government schools, colleges, and hospitals; improper waste disposal; open drains; water and air pollution; corruption within government offices; and the specific challenges faced by Dalits, Adivasis (tribals), farmers, and women. People have been asked to upload this content to social media platforms and tag the group. The group asserts that it will amplify these issues and demand action to address them.

The "Cockroach" trend gained prominence following remarks made by Supreme Court Justice Surya Kant. Shortly thereafter, the follower count of the Instagram account associated with this campaign reportedly surged past 1.7 crore.

This platform was initiated by Abhijit Dipke, a student at Boston University. Although he maintains that the concept initially began as a joke, many political analysts believe that it serves as a reflection of the public's growing discontent.
