Sagar: Good news has emerged from Madhya Pradesh's Nauradehi Tiger Reserve, where Tigress N-6 has been captured on camera alongside four cubs. In a video released by the Tiger Reserve management, the tigress is seen with her cubs, thereby confirming her safety.

According to reports, Tigress N-6 had been untraceable for nearly a month, and no signals were being received from her radio collar. Consequently, apprehensions regarding her disappearance were being raised. As a precautionary measure, announcements were made in the surrounding areas to alert the villagers.

Rajnish Kumar Singh, Deputy Director of the Tiger Reserve, clarified that the tigress was neither missing nor in any distress. Signals were not being received because her radio collar had become old. He explained that the tigress had retreated to a safe spot within the core area to ensure a safe delivery.

According to officials, her sighting with four cubs clearly indicates that the tigress has successfully adapted to the environment of Nauradehi and feels secure in the region. For security reasons, the exact location of the tigress has not been disclosed; however, forest personnel are actively monitoring her. Notably, the tiger population within the Nauradehi Tiger Reserve has risen to approximately 30. Prior to this, in December, Tigress Radha (N-1) was also sighted with three cubs.
