Shaurya Sankalp Prashikshan Yojana: Golden opportunity for youths in Madhya Pradesh: Apply for recruitment into security forces; free boarding and lodging during training; govt to provide stipend as well
The Government of Madhya Pradesh is set to provide free training to the state's youth belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) for recruitment into the Army, Police, Home Guards, and other security agencies.
Under the 'Shaurya Sankalp Prashikshan Yojana' (Shaurya Sankalp Training Scheme)—launched specifically for OBC youth—candidates will receive 45 days of free residential training. The scheme aims to train 4,000 OBC youths across the state. Applications to avail the benefits of this scheme can be submitted until 6:00 PM on May 11.
Krishna Gaur, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the government remains fully committed to the holistic development of the state's OBC youth and to providing them with equal opportunities for employment.
Realizing this commitment, the 'Shaurya Sankalp Prashikshan Yojana-2026'—launched to provide free coaching for recruitment into the armed forces—stands as a historic gift to the youth. She appealed to the talented young men and women of the state's OBC community to apply for this scheme in large numbers.
Minister of State Smt. Gaur further informed that the application process has been kept entirely offline and free of cost. Candidates can download the application form from the official website of the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department (www.bcwelfare.mp.gov.in).
Additionally, free application forms can also be obtained from the 'Assistant Director Offices' of the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department located in 20 selected districts. These forms must be duly filled out and submitted—along with the necessary documents—at these very offices on or before May 11.
Who is Eligible for the Scheme?
To apply, it is mandatory for the youth to be a native resident of Madhya Pradesh and to belong to the Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) category. Applicants must have passed at least the 12th grade examination. Under the physical standards criteria, the minimum height requirement is 168 centimeters for men and 155 centimeters for women. Additionally, applicants must not have flat feet, and their knees should not touch each other (knock-knees) when standing in the 'attention' posture. If more than 4,000 applications are received, selection will be based on the marks (merit) obtained in the 12th-grade examinations. In the event of a tie in scores, priority will be given to the older candidate.
Numerous Facilities Provided During Training
Selected youths will be provided with several excellent facilities free of cost during the training period. During the 45-day residential training program, trainees will be provided with breakfast, two daily meals, and study materials free of charge by the department.
Furthermore, during the training period, a monthly stipend for pocket expenses—amounting to Rs 1,000 for male candidates and Rs 1,100 for female candidates—will be deposited directly into their bank accounts. To ensure the participation of women in this scheme, 35 percent of the total 4,000 seats have been reserved for female candidates.
The training program has been designed to be result-oriented. Under this program, youths will receive approximately 4 hours of instruction in theoretical subjects daily. In addition, a total of 3 hours per day—split between the morning and evening sessions—will be dedicated to physical training exercises such as running, high jump, long jump, and shot put.
Initially, this training will be conducted at 40 centers across 20 districts of the state (Bhopal, Raisen, Indore, Khandwa, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Gwalior, Guna, Shahdol, Anuppur, Rewa, Satna, Narmadapuram, Betul, Morena, and Bhind). Separate arrangements will be made for boys and girls at these centers.
