Bhopal: Leaving behind difficult life circumstances, social challenges, and personal struggles, Radhika Vasant Jetha fulfilled a long-held dream by winning the prestigious 'Mrs. World Woman Nation 2026' title. She shared this during a media interaction on Wednesday, where she and Pageant Director Farah Anwar recounted this inspiring journey.

Raised her daughter as a single parent and never gave up

Radhika revealed that she was married in 2012 but faced numerous challenges due to circumstances within her marital life. After the birth of her daughter in 2013, she took on the sole responsibility of bringing her up. For nearly 11 years, she raised her daughter as a single parent and never gave up, despite the many hardships she faced.

Remarrying in 2024 gave her renewed strength

Radhika mentioned that remarrying in 2024 gave her renewed strength, prompting her to decide to give wings to her dreams once again. She stated that she had always aspired to make a mark in the glamour and fashion world. With this goal in mind, she worked diligently on her body language, communication skills, and personality development. She first won the 'Gold Category' title at the 'Mrs. Central India' pageant before embarking on the journey to the international stage.

Participants from 22 countries

Pageant Director Farah Anwar stated that her aim is to provide a national and international platform for as many women from the state as possible, enabling them to reach new heights through their talent and self-confidence. She noted that participants from 22 countries took part in the competition held in Malaysia. The pageant's theme centered on women's empowerment and children's rights.

Unique national costume was designed by Jyoti Parihar

Radhika said her objective was to showcase the struggles, hard work, and inner strength of a homemaker to the world. A special highlight of the competition was her unique national costume, designed by Jyoti Parihar.

This outfit, weighing approximately 15 kilograms, creatively incorporated steel, copper, brass, and various kitchen utensils. Created in just ten days, the dress conveyed the message that a homemaker—often perceived as being confined to the kitchen—can carve a niche for herself on the global stage through her talent and determination.

Radhika attributed her success to her daughter, her family, and those who boosted her morale during challenging times. She stated that her next goal is to prepare for the Mrs. Universe pageant.
