President Droupadi Murmu will be on a five-day visit to Madhya Pradesh from June 18 to June 22. During this period, she will participate in various programs organized in Indore, Betul, Shri Omkareshwar Temple (Khandwa district), Jabalpur, Gwalior, and Kuno National Park (Sheopur). President Murmu will arrive in Indore on Thursday, June 18. Subsequently, she will attend a program titled "Empowerment of Tribal Society by Spiritual Awakening," organized by the Brahma Kumaris institution in Betul. She will also visit the Shri Omkareshwar Temple to offer prayers and participate in the Aarti.
On Friday, June 19, Murmu will attend a program organized in Omkareshwar on the occasion of International Sickle Cell Day. On Saturday, June 20, she will arrive in Jabalpur.
Will participate in International Yoga Day program
On Sunday, June 21, President Murmu will participate in the International Yoga Day program. Following this, she will attend the 36th convocation ceremony of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur.
Will visit Kuno National Park on June 22
On Monday, June 22, the President will visit Kuno National Park. Afterward, she will travel to Gwalior and then depart for New Delhi.
Ministers-in-Waiting Nominated for President's Visit
The State Government has nominated ministers to serve as "Ministers-in-Waiting" to receive and see off President Smt. Murmu at the respective locations during her proposed tour of various districts in Madhya Pradesh.
