Check new rates

Taxi Drivers' Association officials stated that the minimum fare for airport rides has increased from approximately 50-60 rupees to 120-150 rupees. A ride that used to cost 220-230 rupees is now available for 270-280 rupees, and a premium ride that used to cost 350 rupees is available for approximately 440-450 rupees.

Association General Secretary Rajesh Kumar Nagle stated that Uber has implemented the revised airport fares. Other companies have requested time until June 25th to revise city fares. Ola has also agreed to the airport fare hike, while Rapido has requested time until June 25th to implement the fare revision.

Hike after 10 years

Acting president of the Association, Shravan Kumar Sharma, stated that fares have been partially increased after nearly 10 years. Drivers had long been forced to provide services at lower fares. He said that this increase is a relief, although fares are still lower than the rates set by the state government.

The Association has given companies an ultimatum to implement fare revisions across all categories by June 25. The Association says that if the demands are not met by the deadline, it will consider boycotting the companies and launching a movement.
