Cricketer Kranti Gaud visits Silwani in MP’s Raisen, meets relatives in Siyarmau
Silwani: International cricketer Kranti Gaud, whose name is inscribed on the Lord's Honours Board, visited the village of Siyarmau in the Silwani tehsil of Raisen district. Her visit was entirely private, and no prior announcement had been made.
Upon arriving in Siyarmau from Bhopal, Kranti Gaud was welcomed at the residence of teacher Pradeep Vishwakarma. Villagers also felicitated the player. Instead of attending a grand event or an official function, she appeared among the people with great simplicity.
Kranti met her aunt's daughter
The primary objective of this visit was to meet her cousin (her aunt's (bua's) daughter, whom she calls 'Didi') Savita, her brother-in-law Jitendra Shah, and her brother Basant Thakur, who reside in the village of Pipariya Dabri. It was not a public event.
The moments spent with her family highlighted her simplicity and down-to-earth nature. Despite achieving success at the international level, Kranti Gaud's connection to her roots has become a source of inspiration for others.
