Yuvraj Singh Rathore, a progressive farmer from Chhota Undwa village in Alirajpur district, has brought national recognition to Madhya Pradesh through his outstanding performance at the 'Mango Festival-2026' held in Lucknow. Through scientific farming, innovative thinking, and hard work, Rathore has transformed mango cultivation into a highly profitable venture while also preserving approximately 140 mango varieties renowned both domestically and internationally.

His orchard produces mangoes worth Rs 20–22 lakh annually, which are sold in markets across Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Himachal Pradesh. Inspired by his grandfather's passion for agriculture and nature, Rathore has embraced a blend of traditional values and modern farming techniques.
Rathore receives continuous technical guidance from experts at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and actively shares his knowledge with fellow farmers and the youth.
Rathore won first prize
At the 'Mango Festival-2026', Rathore won first prize for the Fazli, Rumani, Noorjahan, Rajapuri, Kesar, Manohari, and Hapus varieties, while his Chausa variety secured the second prize. He was honored for this remarkable achievement by Dinesh Pratap Singh, the Horticulture Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
