Madhya Pradesh Wins Top Honour at International Agriculture & Horticulture Expo-2026: CM Mohan Yadav Congratulates Farmers, Scientists and Officials
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh has won the First Prize for its outstanding performance in the overall Agri-Horticulture Sector at the International Agriculture & Horticulture Expo-2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the state's farmers, agricultural scientists and departmental officials on this remarkable achievement.
The three-day International Expo, held from July 25 to 27, brought together departments, scientists, agricultural experts, entrepreneurs and farmers from India and abroad representing the agriculture, horticulture and food processing sectors.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states in horticultural crop production. He stated that the State Government is making dedicated efforts to ensure remunerative prices for farmers by promoting food processing units and strengthening marketing avenues for agricultural produce. He added that the innovations and initiatives undertaken by Madhya Pradesh received nationwide appreciation at the International Agriculture & Horticulture Expo-2026, and the government remains committed to further advancing the sector.
Madhya Pradesh Continues to Set New Benchmarks in Horticulture
Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Narayan Singh Kushwah said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is consistently setting new benchmarks in the horticulture sector. He said that the state's growing national recognition is the result of significant progress in horticultural production, food processing, value addition, export promotion, and the effective implementation of farmer-centric schemes.
The Minister said that the first prize received at the Expo reflects the collective efforts of the state's farmers, entrepreneurs and departmental officials, and will further enhance Madhya Pradesh's national standing in horticulture and food processing.
