Madhya Pradesh Govt to launch free AI and FinTech courses in 68 colleges: IIT Delhi collaboration to equip students with future-ready skills

Continuous efforts are being made to introduce job-oriented courses in the state's government colleges to provide employment-focused education to students. Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar announced that the Department of Higher Education is launching online certificate courses in 'AI' and 'FinTech with AI' across 68 government colleges in the state. These include 55 'Prime Minister's Colleges of Excellence' and 13 autonomous colleges. The courses will be conducted in collaboration with IIT Delhi.


To provide job-oriented education to students pursuing traditional courses, 'AI' and 'FinTech with AI' certificate courses will be offered in 68 government colleges during the 2026-27 academic session. The courses will be run in collaboration with IIT Delhi, providing students with training based on modern technical skills. These certificate courses will be completely free of cost for the students.


Training for 2,000 Students


The Department of Higher Education has set a target to train 2,000 students through these online certificate courses in Artificial Intelligence and FinTech with AI during the 2026-27 academic session. The initial target was 1,000 students, a figure that has been doubled this year.
