Sehore: 20 People Turned Back While Heading to Amargarh Waterfall
Sehore: In accordance with the instructions of Collector Balaguru K., and keeping citizen safety in mind during the monsoon season, restrictive orders are in effect for all waterfalls, dams, water-based tourist spots, and other hazardous locations in Sehore district. Given the risk of accidents at these sites during the rains, field staff from the Revenue, Forest, Police, and other departments have been deployed to prevent tourists from entering restricted areas and to raise awareness about safety.
As per the Collector's directives, teams have been stationed on access routes to prevent citizens from visiting accident-prone sites, including the Amargarh, Digambar, and Kaliyadev waterfalls. One such team turned back a group of 20 people heading to Amargarh Waterfall after informing them about the restrictive orders.
Collector Balaguru K. has appealed to tourists not to enter restricted areas, urging them to prioritize their own safety and that of their families. The lives and safety of citizens are of paramount importance. During the monsoon, a large number of tourists from Bhopal, in addition to Sehore, visit these tourist spots in the district. The Collector has appealed to all citizens to comply with the restrictive orders and adopt safe practices.
