Bhopal: Pooja Ola, an athlete from the SAI Centre of Excellence (CRC), Bhopal, delivered an impressive performance at the World Athletics Continental Tour India event in Bhubaneswar, winning the gold medal in the women’s 1,500-metre race.


Competing on August 22, Pooja clocked 4 minutes and 17 seconds to finish first and secure the top spot. She maintained a steady rhythm from the beginning of the race and produced a strong finish, holding her pace in the final stages to move ahead of her rivals and claim the gold.


Her achievement reflects the benefits of regular training, discipline and competitive exposure at the SAI CRC Bhopal. The centre’s structured training programme has helped athletes develop both physical fitness and competitive confidence.


Pooja’s performance has brought recognition to SAI CRC Bhopal and highlighted the growing presence of its athletes on the national and international athletics circuit.
