Grand Raksha Bandhan Celebrations Held Across Ujjain; CM Mohan Yadav Extends Greetings to Sisters
Grand programmes are being organised across various wards of Ujjain city to celebrate the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav joined the Raksha Bandhan programme held at Panwasa on Sunday through video conferencing from New Delhi. He extended advance greetings to all sisters on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this year, the State Government has provided an additional Rs 250 to all beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana for Raksha Bandhan, along with the regular assistance of Rs 1,500 under the scheme.
CM wished that Raksha Bandhan would bring happiness to all sisters and that all upcoming festivals would be celebrated with joy and enthusiasm. Local public representatives, councillors and a large number of women attended the programmes.
