Bhopal’s Upper Lake to Dazzle in Tricolour Splendour—Tiranga Yatra to Feature Hundreds of Boats; Floating Tiranga to be Created in Middle of Lake; Grand Event at Boat Club in Presence of CM Mohan Yadav
Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend the grand Boat Tiranga Yatra in Bhopal on August 13, organised as part of the nationwide series of Tiranga Yatras being held on the occasion of Independence Day following Prime MinisterNarendra Modi’s call. The yatra will commence at 11 am from the Boat Club at Upper Lake.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang said that hundreds of boats carrying the Tricolour will participate in the grand event, with thousands of patriotic citizens joining the Tiranga Yatra. The waters of Upper Lake will be illuminated with the colours of the Tricolour.
Sarang said that Tiranga Yatras are being organised across the country on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s call. The Boat Tiranga Yatra amid the natural beauty of Bhopal’s Upper Lake will be a special attraction for the city.
Sarang said, “Our aim is to see the Tricolour flutter everywhere, from the sky to the waters.” The grand yatra is being organised to celebrate the glory of Bharat Mata and instil a spirit of patriotism among every citizen.
Vishwas Sarang Inspects Event Venue
Ahead of the Boat Tiranga Yatra, Minister Vishwas Sarang inspected the Boat Club and Upper Lake area along with officials of the district administration, Sports Department, police and SDRF. Reviewing the arrangements, he directed officials to ensure adequate security, traffic management, boat operations, deployment of divers and SDRF personnel, parking, cleanliness and other necessary arrangements. Sarang said the safety of citizens participating in the event is the top priority and all arrangements must be completed on time.
Tricolour to Flutter on Hundreds of Boats
Participants carrying the National Flag will join the Boat Tiranga Yatra on different boats. Hundreds of boats decorated with the Tricolour across the waters of Upper Lake will create a spectacular sight, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and national pride. Youth, sportspersons, social organisations and a large number of citizens will participate in the event.
Floating Tiranga to be Created in Middle of Lake for First Time in Country
Bhopal’s Upper Lake will witness a unique and grand display of patriotism. For the first time in the country, a floating Tiranga will be created in the middle of a lake on Independence Day. A special formation of a large number of boats and the Tricolour will be created to display the shape of a giant Tricolour on the water surface. The unique spectacle will convey a message of patriotism, unity and national pride and will be the major attraction of the Boat Tiranga Yatra at Upper Lake.
Sarang appealed to the people of Madhya Pradesh to participate in large numbers in this historic and grand event and strengthen the spirit of respect for the Tricolour and patriotism.
