CM Mohan Yadav Shares Meal with Tribal Family at Thandla in Jhabua; Sisters Tie Rakhi to Chief Minister
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the home of Basant Singh Bamaniya, a member of the tribal community, in Thandla, Jhabua district, and spent time with his family.
Dr. Yadav engaged in a warm, heartfelt conversation with the family members. Tribal women tied Rakhi on his wrist ahead of the Raksha Bandhan festival (celebrated during the month of Sawan), and he showered affection on the children with a sense of belonging.
The CM had arrived in Thandla to participate in a state-level program focused on capacity building and loan distribution for self-help groups.
Minister-in-charge Vijay Shah and Nirmala Bhuria, along with MP Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan, accompanied the Chief Minister. All the guests sat with the family and shared a meal.
CM enjoyed the meal in a warm, intimate atmosphere
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav dined like a common citizen, sitting on a Godri (traditional quilted mat) and ate from a leaf plate. He enjoyed the meal in a warm, intimate atmosphere while sitting amidst the family in the courtyard of their simple home, which was constructed of mud and clay.
The women of the household served traditional tribal dishes with great love and warmth. Dr. Yadav particularly savored the Urad Dal-Paniya and, while praising the food, expressed his gratitude for the love and respect shown by the family.
Sisters Tied Rakhi; CM Bestowed Affection and Respect
Women from the tribal community tied Rakhi on Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s wrist and prayed for his well-being. Dr. Yadav extended his best wishes to the sisters.
Met with 'Ladli Behnas' and 'Ladli Lakshmi' Daughters
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inquired about the well-being of the family's 'Ladli Behnas' (beloved sisters) and 'Ladli Lakshmi' daughters, engaging in affectionate conversations with them. Dr. Yadav also met the family's children with great affection; interacting naturally with them, he wished them a bright future. He also affectionately caressed little Shivansh.
