MP: CM Mohan Yadav Interacts with Unnatisheel Krishi Sakhis Practising Natural Farming at Thandla in Jhabua

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Jhabua district offers immense potential for natural farming, which not only promotes good health but also provides farmers with a sustainable source of higher income. 


Dr. Yadav made these remarks while participating in the State-level Capacity Building and Loan Distribution Programme for Self-Help Groups at Thandla in Jhabua district on Friday. During the programme, he interacted with progressive Krishi Sakhis and farmers practising natural farming from different parts of the district. He listened to their experiences and discussed various government initiatives aimed at promoting natural and organic farming.



CM Appreciates Krishi Sakhi Training Farmers in Jeevamrit and Beejamrit Preparation


CM Dr. Mohan Yadav interacted with Sangeeta Damor, an Unnatisheel Krishi Sakhi from Devigarh village in Meghnagar block, and appreciated her contribution to promoting natural farming.


Sangeeta Damor informed the Chief Minister that she had completed a 5-day training programme as a Krishi Sakhi in natural farming and is currently training 125 farmers in her village and nearby areas. She trains farmers to prepare natural farming inputs such as Beejamrit, Jeevamrit and Neemastra. Sangeeta said that she has been practising natural farming on nearly one hectare of land and has been associated with the ATMA Project for the past four years.




CM Personally Meets Krishi Sakhis


Chief Minister Dr. Yadav personally interacted with the Krishi Sakhis to learn about their experiences with natural farming and the additional income they had generated through its adoption. He also extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the women on the upcoming festival of Raksha Bandhan.



Progressive Farmer Vimal Bhabor Doubles His Income Through Natural Farming


Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also interacted with Vimal Bhabor, a progressive farmer from Khedi village in Jhabua block, to learn about his experience with natural farming. The Chief Minister enquired about his motivation for adopting natural farming, the transformation in his agricultural practices, the increase in his income, and his efforts to train other farmers.
