The QRF company of the 10th Battalion, Special Armed Force (Sagar), was deploying to the Bandakpur temple in Damoh for law-and-order duty. While en route, a truck suddenly stalled right in the middle of the railway tracks at the Makronia-Guda railway crossing.
The driver panicked due to the sudden breakdown and was momentarily at a loss for what to do. Meanwhile, the signal indicated that a train was approaching.
Grasping the gravity of the situation, the QRF personnel immediately took charge without wasting a moment. Despite the truck being fully loaded with cargo, the personnel demonstrated unity and applied all their strength to push the vehicle. Through their collective effort, they successfully moved the heavy cargo truck off the tracks to a safe distance.
