CM Mohan Yadav Offers Prayers at Shri Radha-Krishna Temple in Bhopal; Carries Laddu Gopal on His Head
Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the Shri Radha-Krishna Temple in Barkhedi, Jahangirabad, Bhopal, on Friday and offered prayers and performed Aarti to Lord Shri Krishna.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav carried Laddu Gopal (Bal Kanhaiya) on his head and brought the idol to the temple. The Chief Minister also participated in the annual tableau procession held in Barkhedi on the occasion of Janmashtami and extended his greetings and best wishes to all devotees.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, addressing the devotees that the life of Lord Shri Krishna inspires us to follow the path of dharma, duty and public welfare. He expressed the hope that, by the grace of Lord Shri Krishna, happiness, prosperity and peace would continue to expand across the state.
CM Launches “Mati Ganesh–Siddh Ganesh” Campaign
CM launched the ‘Mati Ganesh–Siddh Ganesh’ campaign jointly organised by the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad and Narmada Samagra. The Chief Minister also released a poster highlighting the concept and objectives of the campaign. As an innovative initiative for environmental conservation, the Parishad will undertake the “Mati Ganesh–Siddh Ganesh” campaign across the state.
Under the campaign, Narmada Samagra, an organisation committed to environmental protection, will provide training to Navankur Sakhis associated with the Parishad’s network across all 313 development blocks of Madhya Pradesh.
The trained Sakhis will motivate and train local women in their respective villages to make clay idols of Lord Ganesha and facilitate the installation of 10 lakh eco-friendly clay Ganesha idols in homes. The campaign aims to facilitate the creation of 10 lakh Ganesha idols and ensure the participation of 25 lakh people.
