Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life represent not merely 25 years in office, but 25 years of continuous service and nation-building. The constitutional journey that began on October 7, 2001, as Chief Minister of Gujarat has now reached a historic milestone. 


From serving as the Chief Minister of Gujarat to becoming the Prime Minister of the country, PM Modi has made public service his mission and continues to work with determination. He has made an invaluable contribution to the country’s development and the strengthening of democracy. 


CM said that to take this proud journey to every section of society, the Seva Sankalp Campaign will be organised from September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Modi, to October 17. The defining feature of Prime Minister’s public life is his spirit of service. The campaign aims to take this spirit to the people. The key achievements of his 25 years in public life will be shared with the people. The campaign will also help disseminate information about various welfare schemes and programmes being implemented for public welfare. 


Large-Scale Diya Lighting at Mahakal Lok on Modi’s Birthday


Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that a large-scale diya-lighting ceremony be organised at Mahakal Lok in Ujjain on September 17, the birthday of Modi. Grand programmes should also be organised across Madhya Pradesh where Prime Minister has inaugurated important projects, laid their foundation stones, or announced other significant initiatives. The Chief Minister also directed that the Samrat Vikramaditya mega theatrical production be staged in Ahmedabad or Vadnagar.


In districts where the Narmada Project and Sardar Sarovar Dam, undertaken at the initiative of PM Modi, have brought positive socio-economic changes, activities highlighting the Narmada Project should be organised. Similarly, people in areas benefiting from the Ken-Betwa Link Project and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Project should be apprised of Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives that have facilitated the implementation of these projects. Information on improved connectivity and increased economic activity resulting from major road projects developed in the state should also be widely disseminated.
