CM Mohan Yadav to Engage with Leading Telecom Industry Investors in Bengaluru; How Will Gwalior TMZ Become New Investment Hub?
Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will engage directly with leading industry representatives and investors in Bengaluru, one of the country’s major technology hubs, to explore investment opportunities in telecom and electronics manufacturing in Madhya Pradesh.
CM will participate in an Investors’ Round Table with leading telecom industry representatives and investors in Bengaluru on September 22 to explore investment opportunities in the Telecom Manufacturing Zone (TMZ) being developed in Gwalior.
During the interaction at Taj Bengaluru, CM Mohan Yadav will brief investors on opportunities in the Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone, the state’s industrial policies and the support offered by the state government. Discussions will also cover the potential for manufacturing telecom equipment, as well as opportunities for research, innovation and expansion of allied industries in the sector.
New Base Being Developed for Telecom Industry in Gwalior
The Investors’ Round Table will feature a presentation on the key features of the Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone and incentives available to investors. Additional Chief Secretary Neeraj Mandloi and senior officials of the Department of Telecommunications will brief investors on the opportunities associated with the TMZ and the policy support available.
Representatives of leading telecom companies will share their experiences at the event. Discussions will also be held with prospective investors on their proposals and expectations regarding the Telecom Manufacturing Zone.
CM Mohan Yadav will interact with investors, address their questions and suggestions, and outline the state government’s commitment to promoting investment in Madhya Pradesh and the support available to investors.
Centre-State Coordination to Boost Telecom Manufacturing
Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia will also participate in the Investors’ Round Table. The interaction, bringing together senior officials from the Central and state governments and industry representatives, is expected to advance the development of the Gwalior TMZ and explore investment opportunities in telecom manufacturing.
CM to Visit Technology Centres in Bengaluru
During his visit to Bengaluru, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also tour leading institutions associated with the telecom and technology sectors, including Qualcomm’s R&D Centre, Signalchip Innovation and Signaltron Systems. He will be briefed on ongoing work in research, innovation and telecom technology at these centres.
The visit will provide an opportunity to explore potential areas of collaboration between Bengaluru’s technology ecosystem and the Telecom Manufacturing Zone being developed in Madhya Pradesh.
