Madhya Pradesh: CM Mohan Yadav to Transfer 40th Ladli Behna Installment on This Day
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer the 40th monthly instalment of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana for September from Agar Malwa on Sunday, September 13. An amount of ₹1,835 crore 9 lakh 22 thousand 450 will be directly transferred into the bank accounts of 1 crore 25 lakh 10 thousand 150 eligible women beneficiaries. With the September instalment, the total amount transferred to women under the scheme since its inception will cross ₹65,395.99 crore.
Monthly Assistance Increased to Rs 1,500
The Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana was launched in June 2023 with monthly assistance of ₹1,000 for eligible women. The amount was increased by ₹250 to ₹1,250 from October 2023 and by another ₹250 from November 2025. Eligible women in the general category are currently receiving ₹1,500 per month.
Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries receiving ₹900 per month under the Social Security Pension Scheme are also provided the differential amount as per the provisions.
From June 2023 to August 2026, the scheme transferred 39 regular monthly instalments. The 40th instalment will be transferred in September. In addition, special assistance of ₹250 was provided to beneficiaries on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in August 2023, August 2024, August 2025 and August 2026.
₹63,560 Crore Transferred Through Monthly Instalments
From June 2023 to August 2026, ₹63,560.90 crore has been transferred directly into the bank accounts of women under the Ladli Behna Yojana. For financial year 2026-27, the scheme is estimated to spend ₹ 11,300 crore up to September 2026. A budget allocation of ₹23,882.81 crore has been made for the scheme for the financial year 2026-27.
Development Works worth ₹254 Crore to Be Dedicated
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will perform Bhoomi Poojan for 33 development works worth ₹225.95 crore and inaugurate 17 works worth ₹28.14 crore, with a combined value of more than ₹254 crore during his visit to Agar Malwa.
