Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal is all set to celebrate Dussehra on Tuesday. Elaborate preparations are underway at the city's major grounds. Marking the victory of good over evil, the festival will feature the burning of Ravan effigies, cultural programs, fireworks, and high-tech displays at approximately 25 prominent locations across the city. Additionally, Dussehra will be celebrated on a smaller scale in over 100 other localities.

Among the key highlights, a 105-foot-tall effigy of Ravan—the tallest in the city this year—will be set ablaze at Banjari Maidan in Kolar. The event will also include musical performances based on the Ramayana.

At BHEL’s Jamburi Maidan, the 'Bhojpal Dussehra Mahotsav' will feature the burning of a Ravan effigy. A grand tableau (jhanki) depicting the Kedarnath Dham will be displayed. To enhance the spectacle, plans include a shower of flowers via drones and a digital fireworks display.
