Madhya Pradesh: ₹90,000 Cr in Investment Proposals Received During Mumbai Roadshow: CM Mohan Yadav Holds One-to-One Meetings with Industry Representatives
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly policies, transparent processes and industrial facilities make the state a preferred investment destination. He said the state government is committed to providing the necessary support and approvals within a defined timeline for setting up new industries and expanding existing units.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state’s central location, availability of industrial land, infrastructure and skilled workforce offer significant advantages to investors. He said the government’s priority is to translate investment proposals into projects on the ground and create new employment opportunities for the youth.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met investors from various sectors during the “Interaction on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh” programme in Mumbai. He discussed investment plans and industrial expansion and invited industry representatives to participate in the Global Investors Summit-2027.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received investment proposals worth around ₹90,000 crore during a series of meetings with industry groups and investors throughout the day at the Mumbai roadshow.
JSW Group Explores Expansion in Cement, Paint and Other Businesses
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Parth Jindal of JSW Group to discuss the group’s existing industrial presence and expansion plans in Madhya Pradesh. The group’s operations include paint manufacturing in Gwalior, steel operations in Dhar, limestone mining in Panna and cement-related activities in Gasabad and Hatta in Damoh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed expansion of the group’s cement, paint and other businesses, expediting ongoing projects and future strategic investment opportunities. The group sought state government support for accelerating project implementation.
Avaada Proposes ₹22,156 Crore Investment in Renewable Energy and Storage
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Avaada Group Chairman Prashant Chaubey to discuss solar, wind, firm and dispatchable renewable energy and battery energy storage projects. The group has been operating in Madhya Pradesh since 2013-14, with an existing presence including a 151 MW solar project in Neemuch and a 280 MW project in Agar Solar Park.
CM discussed the group’s proposal for ₹22,156 crore investment in projects with a combined capacity of 2,362 MW. The proposal includes investments of ₹6,616 crore in Pachora, ₹3,250 crore in Ishangarh and ₹12,290 crore in Neemuch.
CM discussed early registration of the projects, registration through group companies and special-purpose entities, allotment of government land and permissions for leasing or transfer of land rights. The group also sought single-window support for increasing wind power registration in Agar Malwa from 201.3 MW to 264 MW and ensuring time-bound project implementation.
NQUBE Ethicals Proposes Investment of Over ₹1,200 Crore in Pithampur
CM met NQUBE Ethicals Pvt. Ltd. Chairman and Managing Director Mehul Madhusudan Shah to discuss expansion of pharmaceutical manufacturing. The company operates a unit at Smart Industrial Park, Pithampur.
CM discussed the company’s proposal for investment of over ₹1,200 crore in two pharma projects, with the potential to generate more than 800 jobs. The projects include Phase II expansion of the existing Pithampur unit and a new manufacturing facility for sterile ophthalmic medicines on more than 20 acres of adjoining land. Land has already been allotted for the new unit.
CM discussed state government support for time-bound implementation of the projects and opportunities to expand Madhya Pradesh as a manufacturing and export base for the company.
Hindustan Unilever Proposes ₹800–1,000 Crore Expansion in Chhindwara
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Yogesh Mishra, Executive Director, Supply Chain, South Asia, Hindustan Unilever Limited, to discuss expansion of the company’s unit at Lahgadua in Chhindwara. The unit, which manufactures fast-moving consumer goods, is among the company’s major manufacturing facilities in India.
CM discussed the company’s proposal to invest ₹800 crore to ₹1,000 crore, excluding land cost, in a new spray-dried detergent manufacturing facility for Surf Excel and Wheel. The project is proposed to be developed in phases between 2027 and 2030, with an annual production capacity of 5 to 8 lakh tonnes. It is expected to generate around 700 direct and 1,500 indirect jobs.
CM discussed the project’s requirement of 35–40 acres of land, 1,000 kilolitres of water per day and 5,000 KVA of power. Adoption of a zero-liquid-discharge system, a customised incentive package under the Madhya Pradesh Investment Promotion Scheme-2025 and support for expansion were also discussed.
Sterlite Technologies Proposes ₹200 Crore Telecom Equipment Unit in Gwalior
CM met Sterlite Technologies Limited CEO Chandra Shekhar to discuss investment in telecommunications equipment and information technology. The company has proposed a ₹200-crore AI-powered, export-oriented telecom equipment manufacturing facility in Gwalior’s Telecom Manufacturing Zone.
CM discussed the proposed unit’s plan to export more than 75 per cent of its production. The project is expected to generate around 1,000 jobs, with women accounting for 70 per cent of the workforce and persons with disabilities for 10 per cent. Land allotment for the unit was also discussed.
Blackstone and Vanraj Realty Explore Investment in Logistics and Real Estate
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Blackstone Managing Director Alok Jain and Vanraj Realty LLP’s Rajiv Ajmera to discuss investment opportunities in logistics, real estate and other sectors. Blackstone does not currently have a presence in Madhya Pradesh.
CM discussed the potential investment of around ₹500 crore to ₹1,000 crore, including the availability of suitable revenue land at key locations, clarity on the incentive process and expediting necessary permissions and approvals.
Sify Explores Hyperscale and AI-Ready Data Centre Investment
Dr. Yadav met Sify Technologies Limited Data Centre Business CEO Sharad Agarwal to discuss opportunities for developing data centre infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh.
Dr. Yadav discussed the company’s interest in establishing hyperscale, AI-ready and edge data centres. The company highlighted the need for reliable power, renewable energy, fibre connectivity and land suitable for future expansion. Land availability, eligible incentives and single-window support for a time-bound proposal were also discussed.
Infra.Market Proposes ₹200 Crore Investment in Building Materials
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Infra.Market Limited Co-founder, CEO and Director Souvik Sengupta to discuss investment in the building materials sector. The company has been operating in Madhya Pradesh since 2016.
Dr. Mohan Yadav discussed the company’s proposal to invest ₹200 crore, with around 250 jobs expected to be generated. Manufacturing expansion, development of local supply chains and identification of suitable industrial locations were discussed. The company sought state government support for land, infrastructure development, approvals and eligible incentives.
D&H India Proposes ₹300 Crore Investment Near Indore
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met D&H India Limited Director Saurabh Vora to discuss expansion of welding materials and allied manufacturing activities. The company has been operating in Madhya Pradesh since 1974, with offices in Mumbai and Indore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed the company’s proposal to invest ₹300 crore on around 25 acres of land near Indore, with approximately 500 jobs expected to be generated. Time-bound project implementation, land, infrastructure, necessary approvals and eligible incentives were discussed.
Eversource Proposes Investment in E-Buses, Biogas and Smart Meter Projects
CM met Eversource Capital Executive Director Khushbu Shahani to discuss investment and new opportunities in green infrastructure. The group’s projects span electric buses, compressed biogas and smart meters.
Dr. Yadav reviewed the group’s committed investment of around ₹3,500 crore in Madhya Pradesh, with approximately 6,000 direct and indirect jobs expected. The investment includes around ₹2,000 crore through GreenCell for 682 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa scheme. EverEnviro’s biogas plants in Indore and the proposed plant in Bhopal involve investment of around ₹350 crore. Through EnergyMark and Alfanaar, around ₹1,200 crore is being invested in projects involving 23 lakh smart meters for the power distribution companies of Bhopal and Jabalpur.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed resolving implementation-related challenges in ongoing projects, expansion of investment and new opportunities.
Meera Cotton Proposes ₹2,000 Crore Textile Investment; 4,000 Jobs Likely
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Meera Cotton & Synthetic Mills Pvt. Ltd. Director Jai Jayesh Shah, along with Chairman and Managing Director Jayesh Shah, to discuss investment in textiles and apparel. The company has an integrated manufacturing operation for polyester textured yarn, knitted fabric and garments, with plants in Bhiwandi and Silvassa.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed the company’s proposal to invest ₹2,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh, with around 4,000 jobs expected to be generated. Support related to infrastructure and eligible incentives to facilitate establishment and operation of the new unit was discussed.
Sunteck Realty Explores Investment in GCCs, Data Centres and Logistics
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Sunteck Realty Limited Chairman and Managing Director Kamal Khetan to discuss investment opportunities in real estate and urban infrastructure.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed the company’s interest in Global Capability Centres, the data centre ecosystem, logistics and warehousing. The meeting also covered availability of suitable revenue land, the process for eligible incentives and expediting necessary permissions and approvals.
Indian Diamond Cement Proposes Investment of Over ₹3,000 Crore
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Indian Diamond Cement Industries Limited Director Rudra Pratap Tripathi to discuss investment in the cement and infrastructure sectors. The company has a factory in Satna, Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed the company’s proposal for investment of over ₹3,000 crore, with more than 1,000 direct and indirect jobs expected to be generated. The company sought early action on matters related to ownership of around 1,000 acres of land in Gunar tehsil of Panna district and the mineral block.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also discussed availability of land and water, single-window approvals for early commencement of the project, sales tax and other incentives.
